Ok , it is that time of month again! Time to break out of your comfort zone. Last month we talked about saying hello to everyone who you saw. By now you ought to be comfortable speaking to just about anyone.  This month we are going to work on eye contact.

Now if this is hard for you, pick a spot on the person’s upper nose to focus on. Hold their gaze until they look away and do this with every person you meet.

What you will find is that looking into someone’s eyes is very uncomfortable for most of us. This is because you connect with them  at a deeper level which most of us are simply afraid to do.

This is simply a reminder that of all the things we fear in life probably the greatest is our fear to truly connect with people. This is the very thing which makes us truly come alive and become a person of influence in the lives of others.

So get to work on this and make it your goal for the month!
