Detox Diet review

Detoxing is not really dieting; it is simply a means of emptying your body of harmful toxins which may have been accumulate over a period of time. The problem is that for a period of time your body is being deprived of proper nutrients. The problem is that a lot of these detox plans involve putting things into your body which were really not meant to be there in the first place. No one should ever try a detox plan without first consulting a known and trusted physician.

I emphasize trusted because unfortunately credentials are just not enough to ensure that some is working in your best interest. Over the past ten years many doctors have taken to promoting supplements and other diet products in order to make a profit, so make sure that you know who you are talking to before taking their advice.

I might also add that the human body has an amazing capability to cleanse itself of toxins once we stop eating foods that contain them and start eating more natural and healthy foods. Being that the body is an organic system we must give it the necessary time to detoxify at its own pace once we have altered our eating habits. Any attempts to make this happen prematurely are a risk to your health.
